I’ve spent 20 years studying indigenous cultures such as the Celts, Samurai, Zulu, Aztecs, Toltec, and American Indian. My faith is rooted in the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, Lao Tzu (Tao Te Ching), and the Hawaiian and Lakota indigenous perspectives.

After decades of ardent searching for examples of cultures that exhibit a peaceful, egalitarian society and harmonious coexistence with the earth, I’ve found no example more profound than that of the Lakota and Hawaiian.

Modern society is plagued with entrenched inequality, disconnection from our earth, addiction, chronic illness, division, tyranny, slavery and a perspective of fear and scarcity. These elements were completely absent from almost every indigenous culture.

Interconnectedness, mindfulness, awareness, consciousness, peace, equality, community and harmony are the bedrock of the Lakota people.

The answers we seek to heal humanity are alive and well in the wisdom of our ancestors.

I send out brief notes a few times per month, designed to inspire and equip you to live a more harmonious and integrated life. Come join me on the journey!
